AS A COACH

You create what you want.

It’s normal to get lost along the way and drift, losing motivation, energy and drive.

As a committed listener I hear what you say as well as what you don’t say. I help you learn rather than teach. Together we’ll take consistent, massive and sometimes painful action to break through your stories, gain personal autonomy and learn how to feel your emotions.

Nichole Girard brings peace and thoughtfulness to life coaching. She inspired me to take better care of myself, to tune into what is working, to determine what I want to accomplish, and to create a structure to do it. She motivates and helps with accountability without assuming or unsolicited advice. Nichole creates a safe space to sort through life to help align with not only my goals, but also my way of being. I highly recommend her guidance.

Clients I work with

Working parents, corporate professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives and generally anyone at a crossroads in their life and/or seeking clarity, motivation and stress-reduction tools.

My coaching approach

My style is exploratory and thought-provoking. I’m down-to-earth and genuinely curious about your thought process, potential areas of growth and how you can reach your goals.

My strengths

I am a non-judgemental listener, spotting growth opportunities, challenging negative thoughts and cultivating self-awareness for positive habit change.

Mindfulness, meditation and yoga

I was lucky enough to find an incredible yoga teacher and amazing human (Eben Oroz), and studied Raja yoga with him in a four-month-long teacher training with a focus on meditation. It was sort of like meditation boot camp (except way more peaceful).

Through this direct experience of meditating, practicing asanas and studying Patanjali’s eight limbs of yoga for about eight hours at a time I was able to step into a level of consciousness that allowed me to touch pure bliss. A true gift!

I work with a lot of clients who have no interest in meditation specifically, but if you’re curious, intrigued, I’m happy to guide you through an intro exploration, or further your foundation. If that’s not your jam, that’s perfectly okay!

My journey, a short version

I'm a mom and an early adopter who tries bizarre, radical things that interest me and deepen my own awareness.
I read everything about neuroscience, personal development and consciousness, and I’ve found a lightness with bringing acceptance to the hard stuff along with the good, rather than being disappointed that I can’t find balance. (Spoiler alert: there is no such thing)

I double-majored in Recording Engineering and Digital Media and have also worked as a visual designer for over 15 years. I'm utterly fascinated with music, sound and the recording process, and have been DJing for over 24 years both in the US and abroad.

An avid technologist, I have worked as an individual contributor, led small design teams and taught at the college level, all of which lends to my holistic and curious coaching style. I’m able to put myself in the shoes of design team contributors and leads to understand things from their perspective—because I was there.

Prior to becoming a coach with BetterUp and Oliva Health I spent two years with Lyra Health as a Mental Health Coach, partnering with to clients gain more self-awareness and apply evidence-based, cognitive behavioral tools to help them feel better. I also worked with Mindbloom as an Integration Guide, helping guide clients through their at-home Ketamine programs.

I’m completely dedicated to helping you reach your peak performance by understanding more about your psychology, physiology and biology.

I am a Certified Human Potential Coach via Human Potential Institute (formerly Bulletproof Training Institute), an ICF-accredited coach training program. As an ICF member I have logged 1,500+ sessions, and counting.

It’s all about chemistry.

I offer complimentary first sessions for you to feel how coaching can change your life.
